This time, I did allow her one treat. She got to read her first issue of Sports Illustrated. I thought it was only right. As you can obviously see, she devoured the latest copy.
She thought regular reading was too easy, so she turned it upside down to provide a challenge. I don't want to brag but she's in the 90th percentile in upside-down reading for kids her age.
In fact, she even brought a couple pages up to her face for a closer look. But shhh, don't tell Jillian. If she finds out she'll get mad and replace SI with Jane Eyre or some other such drivel. It'll be our little secret.

When I read the title, I expected to see a picture of her reading your old teddy bear book of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. But then leave it to Megan to bypass a child's story and be just like Daddy in selecting a sports article when given the choice.
I look forward to seeing her read The Wall Street Journal when Jillian presents her with choices :-)
Happy house hunting this weekend!
BP,
A similar thing happened to Steamboat and me the other night. I imagined storytime as this beautiful moment of Baby hanging on every one of Daddy's storytelling words. Ain't exactly like that, is it?!
