Spa Day

In trying to create a tomboy, I sometimes have to fight my wife and mother-in-law. I've been able to purchase a mini-putter for her, she plays with a plastic football in the bathtub, and it's no coincidence that 'ball' was one of her first words. So in some respects I'm doing pretty well.

Conversely, she also has a baby she carries around everywhere, a pink purse with 'diva' bedazzled on it, and she occasionally is allowed a touch of lipstick and play makeup to be placed on her face.

Two nights ago, I took another hit in my quest for a tomboy. Jillian and I were fortunate to attend a local soiree courtesy of Nestle Purina to kickoff the holiday season. While she watched us get ready, Megan saw that Jillian was having her toenails painted .... WELLLLLLLL, that obviously meant she needed to have her nails painted too. Below are the pictures of her enjoying her special pedicure as well. I do have to say her toes look very cute.

Awe, that is so precious! She can have both worlds. You can love sports and still be beautiful! And I just love the picture of Megan and her mom. Priceless!

So sweet! And you really can have both worlds - there's no reason she can't climb trees and play sports with beautiful pink toenails!
