(Ed. note: this is a rare non-Megan post)
The weather watchers are predicting a deluge of snow over the next 48 hours for us here in our little hamlet. A few weeks ago we were fortunate to find a used snowblower in great shape, okay, well Jill's dad found it for us, but whatever. Apparently it's a couple years old which means it's a 2-cycle engine as opposed to current models that are 4-cycle to be more environmentally friendly. I had no idea why this mattered until Jill's dad informed me that meant MORE RAW POWER!
Or something like that. Anyway, here is a picture of me in all my glory on our snowblower's maiden voyage. After taking me literally 5 minutes to 'shovel' my entire driveway this might be the coolest thing I own. No back pains, no red cheeks, and no runny nose. I'm so excited. So when they predict over a foot of snow between now and tomorrow afternoon, I only give a hearty belly laugh and tell Mother Nature to do her worst.

That's so crazy! We got a dusting here...but nothing like that. Guess that's what you get when you move to the Great White North!
(and good for you for venturing into non-megan post territory. Although I can't wait to see her in a pom pom hat!)
Come bring that snowblower to Omaha! We got 9.5 inches and snow drifts over my knees! Talk about back breaking. LOL I think we are gonna invest in one of those 4 cyclers for next year. I believe the blizzard we had last night is heading your way...unless it dies.
where is your hat, young man?
