Sick Days

This past week turned out to be a tough one for the family. While Jillian was gone earlier this week I came down with a stomach bug that left me feeling extremely ill. It was all I could do to find the energy to bathe Megan and get her to bed before going to bed myself and taking the next day off from work I felt so bad.

Luckily Megan was fine,  but I've since decided she was the carrier of this thing and I now eye her warily. Kidding. But when Jill came home from her work trip, the little redhead struck again and knocked out Jillian for most of the weekend. However, it appears Megan felt much more concerned and responsible for Jillian's illness than she showed for me.

Seeing these two snuggled up on the couch was extremely cute, and when Megan started playing with her hair like I normally would be doing, I just had to capture it on film. The good news is we're all back to normal now as the holiday season enters the home stretch.
