Around these parts we had already started planning our "It's okay she never learned to crawl" speeches, and then, just this past week, she finally stopped complaining when she was on her belly and started scurrying around the room like a little water bug.
So our little 'wee one' is now mobile. With her new found freedom it has now added some minor headaches to our lives. Things that were safe from her clutches are now fair game, so the strings for the blinds have to be tied up, lamp cords are now our biggest nightmare.
But we are super thrilled to see our little crawler go! In the video above she shows a slight veer in her crawling skills. Since then, rest assured, she has since corrected the crawling 'lisp' and is cruising.
Now to work on the walking trait ...

Awwww! That is awesome!! Now the real test of your patience comes on head strong. She'll be walking in no time. Thanks for sharing! I miss my little niece.
I have been lobbying on the Hill all day in DC and instead of throwing off my shoes and laying on the bed for a rest before dinner, I checked the Blog first. This truly made my day! Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
I especially love the expression on her face when she finally arrives at Brian--too precious. Can't wait to see her again.
I'm not taking my hands off that kid this weekend! She is going to be kissed and hugged to death! Can't wait to see you guys!
Awww!! Yay, Megan!! Thanks for sharing this, Brian.
ADORABLE. Go Meggo!! Soon we'll be able to start with the golf and tennis lessons so that someone can beat her dad :)
