Situated in Holland
I realize it's been awhile, but the Parsons family is finally situated in Holland. I never thought I would be 31 and living with my in-laws (short term, I promise), but there it is. Our house in Cincinnati isn't sold yet and we didn't want to rush into any purchase here until I find a job, so for the time being, it's Casa de Boote, which technically, isn't really a downgrade at all.
We left Cincinnati on Saturday morning with a sleepy baby. We arrived in Holland, nearly 7 hours later (thank you Battle Creek traffic), with a screamy baby. I think she was scared of the three foot high snow drifts that were piled up. I haven't taken the picture yet, but seriously, the snow is higher than the Bootes' mailbox. There will be a scale rendered picture soon.
So we are in the absolute midst of getting settled in Holland, and to my life as a stay-at-home dad for the short term. Now that she's a little older, she is a much more difficult beast to stay home with. Before I was probably lying when I said I didn't have time to do this or that. Now, I really don't.
With that in mind, you're sure to get lots of pictures with Megan in snow suits and such. Instead, since I dropped the ball on updating you about our trip to Florida over the holidays, here are some photos from there. Maybe the warm vibes will help melt the snow here.

Congrats on the move. It is strange to start a post with, "We have settled into Holland," and see a picture of you and the fam in shorts.
Finn looks forward to meeting up with Megan in Michigan sometime on our way up to Indian River. We wish you all the best!!! -Mama Speed
I agree that the post was a little incongruent with the photos....but it all came together in the end! :)
Hope you have some great snowy fun, and then dig yourself out to visit us soon!
:-/ I miss Meggo Beggo. Well, I mean I miss you and Jill as well, but seeing these pictures make me want to cry a little. I hope it's great up north, can't wait for MI pictures.
