Hi everybody!

Hell hath no fury like a reading public scorned. Sorry for the delay. Life intervened for awhile there. I actually had to deal with a sick child, some weekend travel, internet issues at the house, and the workload of the end of the first quarter.

When we last talked I was extolling on the evils of nose suckers. Things haven't changed. She still has a bit of a cough, but now we're dealing with screaming, because despite many false alarms, we think she's finally getting some teeth. At least that's the only thing we can come up with. When she was sick we put a humidifier in her room, slapped some Vick's baby rub on her chest, and hoped for the best. Now she's still cranky and whiny despite the cold going away, and she's seems 'uncomfortable' I guess is the best way to put it. We can't feel teeth protruding from the gums but it has to be that right?

Since we last talked, Megan has added to her airplane experiences. We jetted to Washington DC so I could run in the Army Ten Miler with Jillian's brother, sister, and sister-in-law. I, naturally brought up the rear of the family finishers, but Megan still gave me a kiss when I saw her on the route so all was good. Aunt Jacqui even taught her how to touch her toes!

While in DC, we had to stop by the zoo and see the pandas. Of course, Megan had to get her own keepsake from the experience. I think based on that smile, we made the right move. Thanks to John, Christine, and Jacqui for being such great hosts.

Next Monday, Megan takes her first 'school' pictures. Can't wait to tell you how that goes. Also, Jillian will be out of town from Monday thru Thursday for a work trip which means I'm flying solo getting ready for school, as well as getting Megan ready for daycare, and trying to make it to work on time. All police officers are asked to please avoid a certain stretch of I-275 during this time. Thanks.

Thanks for the updates! I know how busy you are and what issues you are having with home technology, so I really do appreciate the updated info.

If she is truly teething, it will pass soon so try not to let these few bad days spoil your fun together.

Have a great weekend!
