Megan meets Gizmo

Megan's godparents, John and Christine came back home for a visit a few weeks ago, and they brought company. Knowing that a cute dog is the only way to our little girl's heart, they feverishly adopted an adult beagle prior to their trip and brought Gizmo along. (Alright, so they swear they're in love with the dog too, but just look at that picture above. We know who loves that dog the most.)

Gizmo, on the other hand, was not as sure about Miss Megan. He seemed okay with her at first but that was before she chased after him constantly, refused to let him sleep, and approached him with a shrill cry that shattered the air. Surprisingly, she never understood why he kept running from her. (I found this clip on YouTube that comes the closest to showing how she interacted with Gizmo)

The poor dog aside, it was great being with family again. We had several nice boat rides, some yummy dinners that Megan squealed through, and most of all, lots of laughs.
